Group leader, Zdravko Spiric received his Ph.D in Technical Sciences, scientific field Chemical Engineering from University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is licensed – certified manager for Petroleum, Chemical Engineering and Technological projects. Currently he is the scientific director of OIKON – Ltd. Institute for Applied Ecology, Zagreb, and Assistant professor at Medical school Rijeka, Croatia. He is registered in the EU Commission database as an expert/ evaluator FP5/FP6/FP7 – number: EX2002B022188 – and active since 2002. Currently, as Croatian scientist in charge, is/was involved in several EU projects with particularly extensive experience in the implementation and coordination of the EU Phime project in Croatia.
