Group leader, Prof. Dr Clive Sabel, Prof. Dr Clive Sabel, BSc (Hons) Geography, MSc in GIS, and PhD GIS, Environmental exposure & health from University of Lancaster, UK (1999). Prof. in Climate Change & Health, and member of Department of Geography’s Climate Change & Sustainability research cluster. He also holds an adjunct position at Exeter Medical School’s European Centre for Environment and Human Health. His previous posts include Principle Research Fellow, Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Imperial College London, and Senior Lecturer in GIS at University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He has published in both the GIS and public health literatures, notably in the areas of spatial analysis of large complex datasets, individual exposure assessment and of socialeconomic impacts on health and is a regular consultant for the UK Government.
