Group leader, Dr. AC Povey, reader in Molecular Epidemiology. Research interests: Biomarkers, DNA damage and repair, Occupational and environmental exposures, Epidemiology. He runs a research program that examines the mechanisms of chemically induced toxicity and identifying populations with increased exposure or susceptibility to such agents (e.g. genotoxins and pesticides). He is a member of the UK Advisory Committee on Pesticides and the editorial board of the journal Carcinogenesis.
